Games, why don't you work.

I have a problem, whenever i play a game, about 5 minutes in my computer crashs and the monitor fails to connect to the computer. I can't hear any sound from what i was doing before but the computer is still running and i have no idea what the heck is happening.

  • Your video cutting out while playing a game is typically indicative of overheating, where the video card will automatically shut down to prevent damage once the sensors go past a certain limit. Your driver control panel should have a readout for the temperature sensors if you want to check what it's running at and report back.
You may want to open up your case and make sure the fan on the card is functioning properly, is able to draw cool air, and has an unobstructed exhaust path.

Beyond that, any more detail you can give as to your configuration and etc could help us help you help us all.
  • Thanks Krash, works fine now. :D
