Pirate I Update!
Coming soon! All i am saying is that even I am impressed by what is shaping up in Pirate Shipyards. 
. This ship will soon be available for the whole community to enjoy. What that means is that when Krash and I are done with the really big important parts of the ship (they are nearing completion), we will release the ship on a SI server.
The city will be built by people from HotChik to Eolk! Everyone who wants to can add their own section to the city! This is a good chance for the whole community to really get back to its roots, collaboration. Pictures should be up soon of the hangar bays.

As you guys can see the docks are up and running! What does this mean? the Pirate I can start taking on cargo to hasten its building! If you have a keen eye, you can also notice the Pirelis is in dock. Our drone crews are hard at work taking the cargo into the holds!

Don't have the pictures ready yet tonight. I know Shane wanted the large dock done, but I think we all knew going in that I would take my time.
The large docking bay is capable of holding most medium-large ships that are unable to use the small docking platforms. The current specs allow for a maximum breadth of about 300ft, and a length of roughly 900ft (though the entryway allows for only 650ft). Anything larger can be serviced externally using the ship's docking rings and fully trained repair crew.
It is equipped with dual adjustable multi-use industrial platforms, and can be connected to the ship's automated fabrication units for various drydock services.
Do not toy with it nao, this thing could destroy earth, then blow up mars just by ramming itself into those planets, its a true masterpiece

The only place this version is saved is the locked private server. What you're probably thinking of as the hangar is actually the entrance to the hangar. The hangar itself is close to a kilometre in length.
I'm not trying to say my ship is bigger or anything compared to the Pirate I, I know it could probably destroy it with its engine's heat. I was just pointing out that at least mine wouldn't fit in the hangar door for it
