I've just finished talking to BadAzz over at EWo who says that she will not be using the TribesNext solution because of the "gorilla tactics" the community has used to advertise the solution. Full conversation below:

    If the fool is too ignorant to listen, then that's her problem. I personally don't see anything wrong with what you said. All I see is someone trying to keep Tribes 2 and it's communities alive.

    No hacking happened there. Sloik wrote a T2 script to connect to a list of servers sequentially and use a few messages. They're just sour grapes.

    Badazz helps out with EWo. She's one of the staff there, however, Lonewolf8 and... uhh... I forgot the other guy are the top guys at EWo (they script the admin mod, etc).

    I've just finished a conversation with Lonewolf8 and BadAzz (his girlfriend). He's made it clear that they will not be using Thyth's solution. I will admit that I left the conversation out of frustration, but I did tell them both that they're making not only a big mistake, but they're acting out of ignorance and arrogance.

    I will continue supporting Thyth's solution but I will not be making any negotiations with BadAzz, LoneWolf8, or anyone part of EWo for their actions have lead me to believe and agree with a statement Kryand made before about them.

    Be nice guys... Babs, Lonewolf and EWO are good peeps. They are very passionate about T2. They may not have the resources that exists here; but they do the best they can with what they have.

    How many bots exist for friendly, constructive purposes? So be nice, they may and probably will eventually come around.

    The ad bots were to inform people who do not know about them shutting down (AKA newbies) not to be an annoyance, if they are annoying, just get over it. Kicking these bots may not allow some people to know about TribesNext at first and it will be unfair to them who don't get a chance to learn about alternate solutions.     as was said most bots are not there for good reasons but you are right, and i think it might have something to do with fact that thyth seems to want to get it done so he made a bot so as to tell the others and work on it at the same time, only... wtf? how is being open and honest about this project "secret" (thats basicly what she said) someone should try and force a conversion of one the highest authoraties in eWo by presenting the facts about the system to them, making it as clear as possible their solution is only temporary (and lets face it, not a good one at that... i ran into a team of tk'ers today and they could just join back after being kicked... if they think hosting a ctf tk mixture is a good idea then FUCK lol)

    BadAzz didn't seem to be in the mood to negotiate, but you not realizing that, being pushy and attacking her certainly didn't help.

    wow. sounds like some people need to get out of the ol us vs them bs and actually start trying to make it a community deal...

    i mean seriously, judging the EWo community based on a little conversation like that, when you dont even know if the person you're talking to is a guy or girl? If you dont know that, you apparently havn't dont your research. Everyone knows the best salesmen are the ones that do their research.

    how about trying a new tactic: We'll call it "friendly discussion in forums".

    This tactic does not include:
    Calling someone ignorant because they are a girl

    bashing someone someone because they misspelled a word (even though they know that same person spelled it right previously)

    and calling someone a whore because they don't want to use thyth's invention?


    Good job :thumbsup: Way to sell a product.

    Even if sending a bot into servers sounds like a good idea to inform people, it may not be appreciated, as you found out the hard way.

    So again, i suggest this "new" tactic be used in selling your product. And if people dont want to buy, dont resort to this nubbish bashing...

    Red, about my erlier post, I didn't mean a single word of what I said, I don't even know who that girl is, I however find Kryands way of exposing his ideas childish, over dramatic, and more inclined to LOL than to Make a point, I mean, if you think women are "inferior" just because they where born women, then you, my friend, are inferior, and I'm getting sick of your long posts too.

    However, I do have to defend the TribesNext thing, because I'm sure a good ammount of players where quite relieved to get that link thanks to that bot that gave no more than three lines per what, 30 minutes?

    Oh, I muted him on my server though, sloik ended up comming all heart broken, so I made a drawing of us both.
