No, you just keep xFire open the whole time. Although I'm not sure how compatible it is with Tribes 2. But if you're on something like COD4 you can press F4 (dunno what the default key is but I changed all mine) and you open the ingame xFire menu where u can see frame rate and crap, record video, take a screenshot and chat to online peoples. It also supports VoIP so you chat chat using ur mic
well... I tried that the other day. Xfire said (not sure where in the program. At work now so I can't check,) to press scroll lock - T to talk but that seemed to close my chat session. In the chat screen, I had to press T to talk, which spams the chat box with t's until the "too many keystroke ding" annoyed the shit outta the person I was chatting with. :rolleyes:
