It seems there is a new 'bug' on the server tonight. Various random pieces of structures have rotated unaminously. It was very frustrating for some people. Especially me. I was blamed for it by S-Guy and I was kicked from the server various times. I hope this 'bug' goes away before it disturbs many buildings.

First off, it's prolly someone messing with you. You're giving them the satisfaction they crave if you even mention it anywhere.

Ok, this could be from several reasons:

(And most likely) Someone was messing with you. They were using /spin to rotate your pieces continually.
If you move pieces a lot with the merge tool, they'll rotate. This is beyond Krash's power.
Someone used a buddylist exploit to rotate your pieces without you looking.

I believe it was the first one, probably after I left. The admins were messing with me (I don't really mind them, as long as it isn't major disruption), and, when I left, they migrated to you.

This actually happens to me with doors after I use them after texturing it sometimes.
Another way this has happened is if i move my pieces too much with advanced rotate, or if I texture something too many times, It is a pain in the ass, because some pieces took me at least 4 mins to place perfectly.

It didn't just only happen to me. The /rotate command does not work anymore, and I don't ever really use the buddy list. The spinning happened to everyone. It was just rotateing, a bunch of objects such as S-Guy's ship for example. The main floor in his ship was non-stop rotateing even though no admins or anyone else was there.
And no, no one tries to **** with my anymore.

Apparently so, since /spin lets you do the things described. It's also admin-only, so, someone apparently was messing with you.

Agreed Eolk, and i believe the buddylist works as so, if someone's added you too their list, they can modify your pieces even if you don't have them on your list or consent modification.

No, its that in certain occasions, if you use the buddylist, everyone will be able to modify your pieces, even if you just allowed one person.

You got it; it certainly is messed up. I'd love to take a look at what's causing it, however, I'm not sure if it's also in 1.4b. I'll have to take a look at it on the weekend.

Pieces of mine have randomply rotated as well, but it happened on my server. Doors and merged pieces sometimes randomly rotate.

Edit: I just read the other posts

. If it was rotating constantly, it was probably like Eolk said. However, pieces do sometimes randomly rotate.

yeah i have gotten the random rotate thing on pieces that are scaled. it happens when i try to texture swap them.

Oh yea, I forgot that I have a video of something similar to this, but it was CMRD-Bob doing it. I cannot upload it due to my poor 20 Kb/S internet speed.
