I have used both, and AutoCAD is made for professionals, and SketchUp is more for someone messing around at home.
Yep. It's a pretty big chunk of cash, but pretty much pays for itself. Sketchup does have a "pro" version too (without which it's pretty much useless for putting together the proper documents, but can be plenty interesting to start on), but it's only about $500.
I'd also like to note that if you're using Autodesk's products for personal/educational use and have a school email address, you can get pretty much any of them free here: http://students8.autodesk.com/
I know most of you are in high-school or thereabouts, so if you don't have a school email, but really want to try them out, ask one of your teachers to sign up and send you an invitation.

I agree, AutoCAD is good for professionals designing more complex models, SketchUp is mostly for designing simple models quickly and easily and is very simple to use.
Safari is AWESOME, it has grammar checking, it loads youtube in 2 seconds, (faster than google chrome ) it looks cool, but i use firefox for security. doesnt have addons though.

Yes, really. That ship was inspired by EVE and Halo, but, the Chimera actually didn't have anything to do with this ship, infact, I don't really like the look of the chimera. However, this ship was inspired by the Caldari Titan, The Leviathan, which is clearly written at the front of the ship.
