  • Lol, yeah guys, do video games, not drugs.

You say you've chosen "this" over "that", I say, Why not both? Why not technology and people? Why not school and parties?

"Live life to its fullness, do everything and anything that you possibly can as long as it's right, you will only get one life, this is it."

    I agree.

    *Hands Mezalyth a beer*

Lets get fucking wasted while playing T2. xD

And I do expect you to follow the Terms Of Use if you do decide to use my tool.

No one wants to use your shitty stolen code.
  • I love how one of the terms of use is recognizing Phantom as the creator.

Anyway, to Ultra and Bln; not now, because I'm in high-school (where the drama escalates past the point of this crap you see often on the forums)...oh, and I just don't do parties. Only with family/people like family. Friends? HIGH SCHOOL PARTIES?! Yeah, no.

Although rest assured, I'm sure that by 21, I'll be at least buzzed while playing T2 or Nao's XBox...once, anyway.
In your fucking faces. EAT IT.

Yes. In my face. Because posting text is a shock to me. Oh, and since I'm eating it, it's rather delicious...or something. I dunno. You have to remember, I'm one of the few NOS members who can't really code, so you're just spouting gibberish at me.

Also, you can expect me to not use your Editor, or Mod...
  • EAT IT.
Im sure whatever we crap out will be better than your stolen code.
  • The programming style is consistent with the other code you've released. So, while it's obviously not stolen, it's also rather useless.

Your tool doesn't maintain a crosshair lock, which is essential if you really want to consider it at all intuitive. Point of interest for the player has to stay in the center of the screen, tightly coupled to the movement of the avatar. To fix that, you'll need to do a much less simplistic projection into a similar spanned 3D space, which seems to be beyond your mathematical skills.

I'm amused at the spoof of my MIST terms-of-use though. But, if you're planning on cloning the tool I wrote 2 years ago, do keep the terminology consistent. You constrain/lock movement to an axis, you don't snap to an axis. Raycast search to fit to existing pieces is a magnetic fit (which you don't do). Snap-to refers to discrete increments for movement along the free axis. And, a user does need to know the coordinate system if you have them select an axis by name.

It's a nice toy, but it's not very creative, or well implemented.

Thank you for clearly pointing that out, anyone who mentioned that can now enjoy a nice 1 month ban from my server effective now.

spoof of your ToU? Actually, I follow the general idea of code distribution. I agree with the whole idea of raycast searches and will try to implement something along the lines. I have no intent of cloning your tool, nor have I ever wanted any, if it seems if I am doing so, I apologize, and just want to let you know that I have no means to do so.

I just picked Snap as my term for axis-lock on the tool. I think I mentioned that the coordinates are for the more advanced and the reason you would not need to know them for a more basic user is because their attention would be on what they are editing, not the coordinates.

I know this tool isn't the best by a long shot, I still have a lot of work to do on it, But. For all I can say, At least I have got this far. I think I will still get Auto-Axis Select in next.

But other than that, I thank you for you suggestions.

Oh no! What will I do without the ever-so-popular Phantom Construction Mod!?

    There's a Phantom Construction Mod?

    Never heard of it. XD

Thanks, I wanted a reason to stay out of your server with n00bs for admins.

  • //5. You must recive content from Phantom139 to use any functions from this gun
    You spelt receive wrong.
  • P-con 2.1

enjoy. You automatically agree to the terms of use when you download that mod, so make sure you read those.

    Installing:

Download the mod. Create a new folder named Construction in your C:/Dynamix/Tribes 2/Gamedata/ folder and drop all of the contents of the folder PConPackage21 into it.

If one exists (Construction Folder), create a folder named PCon, drop all of the contents of PConPackage21 into it, then right click the links (Dedicated Phantom Cons Server, Phantom Cons Mod., Ect.) and change the -mod Construction tag to -mod PCon.
  • I'm building a big RPG Highway / city in my server.. feel free to stop by and have a look. Here's a mini-map I made for it

im an admin on there, :p and i will e-knight my way up to sa and make n00b admins burn (j/k) but this is true, zipperdude in particular happens to enjoy summmoning things over my head... O_o *dodges incoming mpb*

I really don't care who is admin in my server. I only ensure they have the proper ability to watch over my server when needed. I gave them a plethora of commands to use for fun while I am gone. The SA test that I administer on the server tests an individual's knowledge of the mod, and also contains questions over the administrative rules on my server.

So you may call them n00b admins only because they are n00bs at construction, however, if a situation that involved a problem arose on my server, they have the proper knowledge to handle that event the right way.
  • While I hope you plan on taking security more seriously in the future, I did have fun accessing your unsecured F2 menu this afternoon.
  • Fried.

well, as of last night, you now knows what happens when you attempt to 'hack' into the menu. And trust me, this time, there IS a ban time on that.
  • It was rather entertaining being banned then going RIGHT back in...although for some reason my F2 menus never appear on your server...even when accessing spells.

I can't tell whether it's a malfunction or you actually went out of your way to disable it just for me <3

Oh, and uhh...was the SA quiz thingy on there merely a joke, or is that really how you dictate who gets to be SA? ._.

I got my fun out of your mod. I'm not particularly interested in spending 60 hours shooting at a trapped bot with spells to achieve an experience level as high as yours, or whatever is necessary to legitimately access all of your spells.

The only draw to it was poking at your F2 menu until it gave me things, and to see how well your editor tool behaved.

Now that I've explored both to their fullest, go ahead and ban me. I won't mind.
  • Ban me too, while you're at it. :D

I have not intent on doing so. I was just mentioning the fact that I have installed anti F2 hacks now.

Mez, it must be your client, everyone else could access their F2 menus just fine. I don't 'disable' menus, nor do I have a command that does so. And no, the SA test does not dictate alone. I usually do a 3-5 part test, the SA Test being one of them. and if you fail, that's it, you fail.
