FPS games I would prefer using the mouse rather than analog sticks. Just change sensitivity and you got yourself an easier time with aiming.
Free internet on PC rather than paying for a subscription for xbox live unless you decide to exploit the free trials by making a new account every month.
Multiplayer on the xbox would just require more than 1 controller. Multiplayer on PC requires more than 1 computer.
Being the loner that you are, I'd recommend the gaming PC.
If you miraculously have friends and a job, I'd go for the xbox360.

My roommate just bought a PS3 that I'm enjoying very much. A console would never replace a PC for me, though, ever. However, it is nice being able to stream movies from my computer to the PS3 so we can watch them on the TV instead of my computer screen (Yes, I realize an Xbox can do this too), and it will be nice in the future when we get more controllers for some great multiplayer action with friends that don't have PCs to bring over.
NATAL looks neat, but until they release them and I am able to get one and try it out for myself, I think it is just a video with enhanced dynamics, and animations, but that is my point of view, My mind won't change otherwise. Heh.
Like the Wii-fit pad, I thought that was all a bunch of crap, until I saw my mom use one, on a morning a while back.... Oh goodness.
