  • Some people despise useless threads.
  • What? You reported it?
  • No, Just wrote the name down.
  • Cornucopia... Riiight...
    Da fig? O.O
  • Wikipedia it.

If you don't feel like looking it up, it's corn you can easily cope with.
  • Anyone have a Wii? If so, what is your friend code?
  • I have a Wii, my friend code is ********.
  • Ewww.... Wii...
Disgusting and boring... Why do you get.. Asian Gaming systems? (Eww... Rice inside the Wii...)
And, did you have fun throwing the remote at the 55" HD Plasma Screen they gave you so you don't sue them for throwing the remote into a new TV?
  • Disgusting and boring... Why do you get.. Asian Gaming systems? (Eww... Rice inside the Wii...)
What makes you think Xbox and PS3 are any better? Basically, you're buying stuff that goes bad easily from crooks who only like you for your money.

If Microsoft/Sony had made the Wii, they probably wouldn't even have put the strap on after complaints. ;)
  • Over where I live, they're starting to use the Wii in rest homes...

I don't see any junked up, piece of crap, memory-goes-bad-in-a-month Xbox 360/PS3 around.
  • And, did you have fun throwing the remote at the 55" HD Plasma Screen they gave you so you don't sue them for throwing the remote into a new TV?
Only the stupid people did that. Plus, there's a strap now.
  • 1). Xbox and PS3 have better games, graphics and you can go online with these addictive combos.
2). Xbox and PS3 are sexier then ugly Wii. (I shall get SnowFire to Wee on your Wii!!! Tell me if it works then?)
3). Xbox has Halo and sexy graphics.
4). PS3 has beautiful graphics which provide sexiness.
5). You can shoot stuff in Xbox and PS3, in Wii, you just swing around a controller all day like some retarded drunken monkey that's dancing.
6). Xbox and PS3 have more games then the Mario crap that nintendo gives you. (Ooo... a giant monster, lets swing the remote so I jump on it once and it dies)
Or in other words, Wii games are boring...
I wont lie, Nintendo 64 was da shit back in the day, but I think Wii is a bunch of nonsense.
  • 5). You can shoot stuff in Xbox and PS3, in Wii, you just swing around a controller all day like some retarded drunken monkey that's dancing.
There are some shooting games (Call of Duty, that other new cop game thing... forgot its name).
Also, do you know which system is still selling out the most? *cough* Wii *cough*
Not to mention Wii's new game, Super Mario Galaxy, just made the top right below Ocarina of Time (from what my family's been talking about).

I guess it all depends on your taste. Truly, I've never been a Microsoft fan, and Sony is about just as bad.
  • 2). Xbox and PS3 are sexier then ugly Wii. (I shall get SnowFire to Wee on your Wii!!! Tell me if it works then?)
What's so sexy about that big, bulky crap? Wii is small and compact.
  • What's so sexy about that big, bulky crap? Wii is small and compact.

Small and inferior Technology... Ugly ass graphics...
And, OMG!! The First COD? and one other shooting game? Sounds... Boring as hell...
Then, you must be in the South, up here in the North East, no one has that gay Asian crap...
(Except cars and chinese food... and China Town in N.Y.C.)
Up here we care about American products... (Sometimes...) We don't have sex with our cousins and we aren't confederate fags like "yall" are down there.
So if you have Wii, you either have no "taste" in a good gaming system, you are Asian, you are Southern, you are an Asian Southerner, you like swinging a controller around like a retard or you are just a moron.
  • Welp, I'm off to work, have fun arguing at me while I'm not here :D
  • Small and inferior Technology
I've heard a lot of people complain about the memory of Xbox 360 (or was it PS3? I don't give a crap) going bad in a month.
And no, I meant COD 3.

Blnukem, you're obviously confused. Wii came from Japan, not China.
  • Touchy, touchy. The Wii has an inferior graphics card, an inferior processor, but that's where the "inferior" ends. The controller technology (the part of the system that actually matters to you as it's your only way to play the game) is phenominally complex. Also give a moment to consider that the graphics in a game help to immerse you into it, but just because the graphics are great doesn't make the game fun to play. Immersion doesn't just require graphics, it requires you to be having a fun time, too.

From what I've read though, it sounds like you've never given the Wii a chance. How many games have you played on it?

Edit: The PlayStation 3 is also Asian.
  • I can't honestly say I've tried xbox either, however, some friends of mine said they preferred the Wii over the latter.

I don't trust Microsoft that much either, and the "controller incident" with Sony was absolutely outrageous.
  • Blnukem, you're obviously confused. Wii came from Japan, not China.
No shit... Dumbass... Japan is still in Asia.

And to foocumber, I played some Mario game on my friend's Wii once, and thought it was total nonsense...

Now... For real... I gotta go to work... =/
    We'll argue later, ok Eolk?
  • And to foocumber, I played some Mario game on my friend's Wii once, and thought it was total nonsense...
That's because you're too used to FPS. Which game did you try?
  • I don't want to feed into argument here, but dollar for dollar I've gotten much more worth out of my Wii than I would've if I had put my money into one of the other two systems. I admit, one or two of the games released on the other systems have interested me, but they could just as well be played on the PC. If you've got the cash to blow and you insist on believing the system you've chosen is better than someone else's, go ahead, nobody but you is concerned with what you purchase.

The locale of a company, size of a machine, and graphics less than the competion do not make a game boring.
Certainly a few of the games I've played have been less than I had hoped for, but these were more often than not games ported from other systems. First or second party games and those developed by studios putting time and effort into bringing an intuitive, enjoyable game experience to the table have been some of the best games I've played on any medium. I've yet to see a game with "ugly ass graphics".
Not to mention there's the back-catalog of GC games and the virtual console.
If you're really interested in the gameplay of a FPS, you might note that the control scheme is much better suited to it than analog sticks. Right up there with keyboard+mouse. Granted there aren't a lot on the system (probably around 20 shooters so far), but things like Metroid and Resident Evil are worth playing. The recent release of the zapper accessory will probably see a few more down the road.

The technology is more than adequate, even by today's standards, to provide an enjoyable and immersive game experience. This doesn't mean having latest and greatest far and beyond anything seen before as some might believe makes a good game; but current technology on a smaller scale with a price point to match. The system is not intended for hardcore gamers, and does not give any illusions of being capable of something that it's not.
If you take into account that the Wii has sold as many units as 360 in half the time and is still hard to find in some areas (so much so that Nintendo had to pull an advertising campaign to cull the demand), the general public doesn't share the opinion of certain teenage evangelists.
  • Regardless, I still think the Wii is a useless piece of crap...
And to Eolk, I don't just play FPS... I play RPG's, RTS's and Racing games for the 360... Not just FPS's like Halo or C.O.D. or Quake 4 or all the others...
  • And I will continue to think xbox 360 is a piece of crap. I guess that's how things will go.
  • I never heard someone dislike the 360 and PS3... Eolk, you are something not normal...

No matter... Wii is crap... And I wont get over the fact that it is crap!!
  • I've never heard someone who's disliked the Wii (I see lots of people say crap about PS3 and Xbox). So, blnukem, who's normal, and who's not?

Xbox and PS3 are crap, and my mind won't EVER change unless some major changes take place.
  • Well I've had the stomach flu for the past couple days, and I just read this whole conversation. Very amusing! I've actually played the Xbox 360 alot, and I am very impressed about the graphics, but it was just the same old controller that had been around for years. But I am impressed with the Wii because of how you can interact on it. I have been playing Cod 3 and Mario Galaxy on my Wii, and I enjoyed it. The Wii may not have the HD output, but I remember hearing about something you can buy to make the Wii HD. The Wii has good graphics of course, but it isn't as good the Xbox and PS3's graphics. I am not so happy about the whole Wii points thing. I find it sick that you have to buy 500 Wii points in order to download the internet browser that was previously free of charge a little while ago. I also find the virtual console very fun becuase you can play all the old games that you love on the wii.
