PGD Has Moved!

Well, my old domain name officially expired yesterday, which was actually a welcome thing as we were searching for a shorter domain.

After a few hours of discussion with my web hosting provider, I was able to register a new domain:

www.phantomdev.net

  • how come you discussed for hours
  • well, my web host provider does their support through email, which took a good deal of time.
  • I like cake, specifically chocolate. How about you?
  • Caramel Fudge cake (its real)
  • The cake is a lie. A LIE I TELL YOU!

I'll check into it. Getting the forums back up and running took a bit earlier.
  • I like Pie. And No, the cake is not a lie, I ate some last week.
  • last week seems like a lie..
  • It is, it's actually the third week of next month.

    Figure that one out.

That's quite suggestive. And this is Phantom you're talking about so...

I assume his web hosting provider holds discussions with him often.

"oh not much, had a glass of wine, watched true blood. You?"
"Oh i just coded, *hours later* and oh, right, my domain name ran out, can i get a new one? Id like one with a smaller name."
"Oh sure, what do you have in mind?"
    "Oh... idk.. maybe, phantomDev.net?"
    "Ok, sounds good."
    "Done."

lol, that would be a funny conversation... But it wasn't quite that.

Emails were separated by 30+ minutes, and the people I talked to really didn't quite understand English, a grammar nazi would have had loads of fun talking with them. But I assume they were relatively busy at the time, conversations that took a few hours over the course of around 10 - 14 emails.
