Is anyone else having issues with the beta, for me it cut my fps from above 30 to about 4 and slows my entire computer down

I am gonna try it.
Edit: I had pretty decent around 200 most of the time (on windows XP).

I've looked elsewhere and it's happening to other people too.

Odd, it's running fine on my PC.
Though I haven't tried on ubuntu and Windows 7 yet.

i have the same thing my fps is very spazzy now
