Copy and paste powers.. activate!

My SI doesn't work. It has been downloaded but everytime I play a construction server, it always shows the screen SI is disabled. It has been quite frustrating and I downloaded the SI from the 'Construct creations' and redownloaded. Still doesn't work. Maybe it was cause it's the quick download one? Help and instructions on how to fix this would be super awesome.

    Are you using the Shortcut Supplied with the Program?

    All you need to do is run the installer and start up the game with "-mod Construction" in the shortcut. The installer will make such a shortcut for you in the start menu by default.

    It installs one script in Construction/autoexec/ - as such, it will automatically execute every time you play using a "-mod Construction" shortcut. The first time you start it up the SI version will be a bit old, but the next time you open it up it should complete the automatic update.

    It's a two step process, there's not really anything to screenshot.
    1. Run the quick installer, make sure the "Create shortcuts" option is selected.
    2. Run the "Construction Online (SI)" shortcut in your start menu.

    Most people I Try helping to get SI installed on construct.net servers always run into the same problem. They don't realize there's a new executable to run that will show up in your windows start menu under dynamix, or in the Gamedata folder. Forget about your old tribes2 icon you wont use that anymore to play construction, Run tribes only using the icon Construct Online (SI)

    i seem to only run into problems if ive not played after a long times absense, mostly thanks to defragging believe it or not >_>

    Make sure you run the Tribes 2 shortcut called "Construction Online (SI)". Join a game, if it doesn't work it automatically updates (I think) then you need to disconnect, restart tribes and viola.
