It's time to get your clans together again!
(I would be gracious if someone would post this on the 5/8 forums as well.)
When the treaty that has brought us peace came into existence many sighed relief. Many huge projects arose, new peoples came out of their cover of the earth, and the world seemed to grow, mimicking the past glory of the lands of New Pork.
But there were those few who reveled in the spoils of their war. There were, and are still warriors and those with glorious wars and ambushes in their dreams. They grow restless.
I cannot bear the thought of them turning blade against their comrades.
That is why I am telling you: Bring your clans together! Stockpile your war supplies! Train your soldiers in their art! Show the others what force you will bring to bear against them in the Battlegrounds!
Right now, right here, I have the foundation laying for the city that will bring all this glory back! It will serve as an embassy, storage of war supplies, and meeting place for your group's warriors to both war against each other and respect the treaty that continues to push us higher into the sky and lower into the earth!
The city:
Is divided into eight sections meeting in the center. Each section will belong to one clan to build on, besides one which will be the gate leading to the 'outer city', a non-clan city which surrounds the center. There is limited space, so you must build to the very best of your ability.
Your section represents your knowledge in the arts of construction. Be a show off!
My Tower:
Will become the central meeting place for the clans, featuring a council chamber, meeting room, offices, and my personal base and watchtower.
In the massive meeting room there will be a banner on the wall, one per clan. I suggest you find an image that represents your group and stockpile dyed cloth.
The battleground:
Is very near upon us! With the progress I have made in other areas I'm almost ready to begin it! BE READY!

By the end of today the city will be ready for the clans to begin! I will also be building another surplus building in the outer city where any supplies that I don't necessarily need will be stored. When that goes up feel free to take anything you need!
Once the city is ready my attention will turn towards finishing my tower... Then the real fun starts!
And one more thing: The city needs a name! Come up with one that is fitting and post 'em!

The area that the Battleground will be located at has been found! No massive terraforming operations needed!
The city center is not yet ready for construction, give it a day or two. It's good time to discuss what to build within it.
The city's name will be Ironhold unless a better name pops up. (Somewhere in the city I'm gonna build a huge hand made out of iron holding a cloth earth, and when the forces of the Netherlord invade you get to watch it burn- Wait, WHAT?)

I need someone skilled to create a giant hand made out of iron that is holding a globe in the center of Ironhold. All the blocks needed will be given, and more!
I'll also be getting info on all the active groups/clans in our server and probably relaying that info to the clan listings thread.
I'm working on a set of catacombs and burial sites, adding triggers, traps, and mob spawners. Some of the server's most heroic souls will rest there, but for how long.
Also, clans can talk to me about grabbing space for their embassy/show-off area. Walls and the central tower aren't nearly completed, to tell me before you modify them.
