Description (as on the site):

" This home exudes both warmth and stability, thanks to the combination of stone veneer, wood shingles, wood timber posts, and wood corbel detailing on the exterior. The interior has an open layout with plenty of windows and deck space, and it features two fireplaces – one in the family room and one in the hearth room – to warm the home during colder seasons.

The three–car garage located next to the entry porch is angled, making the home feel more intimate as you walk up the entry steps. The exterior walls are jogged at multiple locations, which allow a variety of views to the outside, and results in an interesting exterior facade. Cedar posts with corbel details frame the covered porch, which has plenty of room for furniture to enjoy the outdoors. After entering the house, you find yourself in a sunny foyer (lit from the skylight above), that is open to a formal dining room on the left. As you walk toward the main living spaces at the rear of the house, you pass a master suite, a powder room, and an open stairwell on your right. The master bedroom has sliding glass doors to the rear deck, and a private study that you access through double doors. The large master bath has a private toilet room, two separate walk– in closets, a luxurious whirlpool tub under picture windows, a separate shower, and a door to the study for secondary access.

The family room is open to the kitchen, and has a vaulted ceiling, a stone– faced fireplace, and sliding glass doors to the large deck at the rear. The open kitchen has a center island that includes a stove and a raised counter for eating. It features a walk– in pantry, room for a dining area, a long desk along one wall, and a nook for a phone center. The kitchen is also open to the hearth room, which has a stone fireplace, and sliding glass doors to a covered deck at the rear. The breakfast area has sliding glass doors to a separate covered deck at the side, which has an outdoor grill. A door opening from the kitchen leads to a butler's prep area, with a prep sink and under counter refrigerator. From here, a small hall circles back to the entry foyer, and has doors to a bedroom suite with a private full bath, and a spacious laundry/mud room that accesses the three– car garage. The mudroom also has a door to the covered entry porch for direct access.

The lower level provides additional bedrooms and an open recreation room. After going downstairs, you find yourself in an open billiards room with a curved wet bar, and access to a wine cellar. The room is open to a large media room with a fireplace, and double doors that open into an exercise room. Sliding glass doors bring in natural daylight, and accesses the lower patio. Next to the media room are a full bath and Bedroom 3. On the other end of this level, there are Bedrooms 4 and 5, which share a full bath, and a door to a spacious unfinished storage room.

Foundation Info
This house was originally designed to have a basement foundation. However, if you prefer a crawlspace or a slab foundation, these are fairly simple and inexpensive changes that your builder can often make for you. If the basement design is not displayed in the Floor Plans, it's because it is unfinished.

Electronic Format
These plans were drawn using a well–known and highly respected architectural design software program called SoftPlan (version 13). This software can export the same files in .dwg format, so they can also be modified by anyone who uses AutoCAD, which is nearly universal. The CD for this plan includes the files in both SoftPlan and AutoCAD–ready .dwg, as well as in .pdf for easy viewing on your home or office computer. "
