Welcome to the Unofficial Tribal Clan Database. Inspired by Tribes 2 and its awesome community. Here you will find various lores and facts about some of the many clans and tribes operating in the wilderzone system. Sub category 1 - The Colonist Clans: 1.a: BlackHawk - Clan Black Hawk are a team of horde survivors, no one knows their origin except that at some point the members there left the warring tribes through unknown means and unified under a noble cause that could ultimately lay the tribal wars to rest for good. They have taken to securing condemned planets to repopulate them, they are efficient. Currently the active colonist soldier numbers are alarmingly low, infact its been officially counted at 21, however, this does mean that they can manage a flawless logistics system that suits their needs, but that most other tribals and clanners would literally die and/or kill for. They have an unconventional yet highly adaptive and efficient manner of supply, nothing is wasted and nothing is unessesary, soldiers who die in battle can "come back to life" via a memory transfer process to a waiting clone in stasis, the dead body is recovered (if possible to do so) and liquified to feed to the clones, as well as to ensure that every soldier has at least 3 clones that are alive and in peak physical condition, allowing for instant redeployment to the field. The logistics system works via a matter transportation relay network that is boardcasted from the first planet they successfully reclaimed from the infection. The signal is eventually recieved by a remote access terminal that interprets the energy signatures transmitted to it and reconverts the energy sent into matter for the user, esstentially an 'inventory' station. Its is very precise, it is capable and often used to graft skin, bone, sinue, nerve tissue and muscle together to heal wounds and even repair seperated limbs, as well as trasport damaged armour back to the central planet to be recycled for ammunition or for renewal to new armour components, or even just simply melted down and shaped for storage for later use. Standings with other clans and tribes: Disinterested in making enemys, but will defend themselves. Co-operative and very reliable to Alies but won't be take advantage of and expect aid in return. At war with: No-one, they don't have time due being at constant battle with the infected populace on most of the condemned planets of the wilderzone. Sub category 2 - The Calling of Darkness. During the second "great war" humanity put aside their differences to face a threat of their own creation, the slave race known as bioderms rebelled against their human masters. Calling themselves the horde reavers, they almost drove humanity to extinction. In a turning point during the war for humanitys survival, the Horde maul council became increasingly desperate, their odds of victory seemed bleek. It was suggested by a reaver scientist that he could reanimate the dead and control them due to a breakthough in gene splicing. The council were horrified by the the idea but were desperate enough to accept it, and ordered trials to be carried out immedietly. During the Horde reavers unsuccessful attempts to revive their fallen warriors via viral possesion, the test facility was overrun within seconds due to a security breach in the holding pens where the failed experiments were studied, their dead comrads were mindless and violent and the only thing that survived within each of them was the need to spread and to feed, like locusts, it is currently unknown if the facility or the planet itself will ever be recoverable, all attempts to venture there have failed due to the high concentration of the infection there being high enough to infect individuals who simply draw breath upon the planets surface. They had unknowingly created a virus that turned both their fallen comrads and humans alike into undead entitys that did nothing but kill to feed and reproduce, eventually due to a freak accident the virus mutated, it was not only able to spread, but sustain itself in various forms for long periods of time, and "play dead", making it very much impossible to detect until the subject turns. While vaccines have been developed due to the virus' linear structure, no true permanent cure has been found, a person taking a vaccine must be aware that second contact with an infected individual or water/food source means they MUST take another vaccine to cure themselves again or face the enevitability of infection.
