Some people may know me for abruptly and randomly inviting people to join my squad in this old ass awesome military sim, which don't normally happen since this requires at least four people (it works fine with just two but it's not as fun as having a nice sized squad with fully comunicating humans) [who happens to be awesome]

Now if you ever heard of ArmA, this is the game that started it, in fact, Arma is more like this game than the new operation flashpoints (because the guys who made it and the ones who hold the intellectual rights are different groups that don't quite like each other anymore) it's squad oriented and quite realistic (for a 90's game) and what you basically do there is get your squad, acomplish a mission or die. There's air, land and sea vehicles as well as the option to drive and gun down every one of them, like I was saying, I need at least four brave filibusters to form my squad and have fun.

Blast from the past. Might be fun to pick out a couple older games like this to play when there are a few people on... I know I have a pretty good collection of older games that were great back in the day that should work with LAN support with some fiddling. Will have to have a look.

I bought a couple copies of OFP: Dragon Rising for $3 each in the steam holiday sale, was a pretty good deal.

That's pretty awesome actually, you should trade me one copy for something I can give you worth $3... maybe intellectual properties, or spanish lessons! or intellectual properties written in spanish
