So gentlemen, I realize we consist of a huge age group. This will mostly be for those 18+ however, my apologies.
While serving with my fellow Marines, i learned that one of them uses a website called Prosper.com. This website allows you to LEND money to OTHER PEOPLE. You get excellent rates, can choose the people you loan to based on current credit score, recent credit trend, income, current debt, payment history, and more.
Prosper verifies the user's income by contacting their job. You'll be required to submit all your information for tax purposes.
If a user you has lent to defaults on their loan, you lose your money. But if you only invest $25 (the minimum) on the loans, you don't lose much. To date I've lost $68.
There's no gimmicks or hassles, however some states don't allow thier residents to invest.
Personally, I've made over $200 off of $1000 in three months.
