Flatland is pretty far from new. It came out in the summer of '02.
If you could give us a bit more information as to the exact nature, there's a higher chance of us helping.
For example: When exactly do you have a problem? What browser are you using? Operating system? Are you using "Save target as..." or just clicking on the link? Do you have enough disk space? Are you running any child protection software? A firewall? A popup blocker/other content blocker? Have you set your folder options to show extensions for known filetypes / managed the filetype to always show?
If you're using internet explorer, have you gone into internet options > security > custom level and enabled "File Download", or tried disabling "Open files based on content, not file extension"? Have you tried using a better browser?
