Another Potential "Tribes-like" Game

I read this in the TacMod news. Apparently, GarageGames is developing something "Tribes-like," according to them.

    Yeah, I've been in the legions beta for a month or two (won a photoshop contest), it's pretty fun. The jets take some getting used to after tribes, and the game still needs a work before release. I invited a bunch of people to instantaction a few months ago, you must've been out of the loop. Regs for IA are open these days, and the about 1100 people were added to the legions beta the other day, so the fully open beta should be just around the corner.

    The scripts are all in dso format and the mission editor is disabled at the moment to deter modders prior to the integration of their own mod tools, but it's simple enough to script around the block if you're familiar with the language. I've already tossed out a couple client scripts people were looking for.



    edit: There used to be TAC2 fightnights every friday at 9pm est if you're looking for a game of that, not sure if they're still doing it, but it was fun way back.

    Krash, is this the game that can only be modded in the Prefs folder?

    This game looks SOOO beautiful, I couldn't believe it.

    Not just in the prefs, that's just the simplest place to enable the console and get started. :p
