Problems with AFK people

Well, last night, me 3 poeple and I was playing on Krash's server, and as usual, Dead_Wrong was AFK, znd had been for the past like hour or more. The sucky part was that we couldn't do any votes like change the map, load my pieces, or delete orphaned deployables. We usual kick the pople that have been AFK for 1/2 hour+ so we can do our votes, but we couldn't kick dead_wrong because he was an admin.
He does this like every day, and it makes me more and more mad because we can't delete, load, or change anything! It sucks...

  • well acutally, if an afk person doesnt really affect votes. if the other three poeple had voted yes, the vote would have passed. afk people really dont effect things unless theres a high ratio.
  • Kicking people for being afk is a selfish reason, just to remove orphaned, load pieces, or any other nonsence. I suggest you move to the opposite server and try there. Wheather you want someone removed to load something or remove deployables, I would appriciate it if you would contact me from here on in. If you need anything or help with anything please message me on AIM: Master Peppens.

If I get any ironic messages such as "Hi. What u up 2?" or "Yo come build something with us" Then I'll more than likely ignore you, add you to my block list, and probably mute you on tribes 2, so I don't have to hear your nonsence period. So, Just a heads up.
  • Well... You can't kick people for being AFK, even if they have been away for hours at a time, it just isn't right and is very unfair for whoever was AFK, and it is, like Master-Chief- said, it's a selfish reason to kick those who aren't even there just because you can't make votes.
  • And one other thing... Is it just me, or is the Master Server down?
  • yea its down.
  • Kicking people for being afk is a selfish reason.

    I'll consider that next time...
  • lol, Eolk...
  • I wasn't kidding. I've only prioritized kicking afk people when we've just kicked (or they left) a spammer/retard and we need to remove orphans. It happens more frequently than you would think.
