I am planning to make the LHC in The-Construct - TX and i am making it to scale, Underground.
This seems like a great and extensive project, any takers? We would need to split up the different tasks of this grand project. I would certainly help.
I will start at 8:00am (4pm GMT) today and i will keep posting a week to week diary of how we are getting on. If you want to join in just come to The-Construct TX or what ever server i am on (check first).
I might be able to do it, my time zone is MTN (Mountain time), But may I just ask, How will you make this as is, visible to players in the server if it is to be underground? I'm in a bit of a confusion here.

To make it visible i will make a sign or something that is noticeable from spawn and will have an arrow pointing to the teleport undergrpund.
just do it before 10/21, because that when the world will end when they fail and we all get swallowed by a dark hole.

Either way, i think it's a terrible idea, the risks are too great, and the rewards are pitiful.
Con - We all die in 50 months when the blackhole hey created finally consumes earth.
- We all die when they really do recreate the big bang and the explosion bangs
us into oblivion
- We piss off aliens.
Pro - We learn how the big bang went down. (Yay. )
- We have a constant fountain of matter (Yaaay, free gold! )
Although, i don't know all the facts, the reason, or procedure. I'm simply regurgiating stuff i've already heard.

To make a black hole you would need a very very dense point, and it cannot be created artificially, regardless of what they say. (At least it wont be made in our lifetime) The LHC is similar to smashing two Uranium atoms together, the molecules of the uranium scatter and smash other atoms apart, thus a nuclear explosion. The LHC would pretty much do the same thing only on a larger scale since the molecules are traveling so fast.
If a black hole is made... Well... Then... I just want to let everyone know... Eolk is... An... Elk...
Update: Friday I made the outer tunnel to the LHC - Large Hedron Collider (aka Large Human Collider), during the weekend I got some help from =Rebels= Hornet and got to work on the the inner workings of the tunnel.
I've decided to keep it at a more managable scale, the diameter is about 1 km, and consists of about 610 pieces so far. It's coming along really nicely...any help would be appreciated. That's all for now.
Hmmmm...Interesting.I say for myself, I wanna see the LHC or just see the Earth from a very far distance and see it get eaten by a black hole (Lets just hope not XD).And I will join!Well, if I am online =D

Thats a big conductance. Although i'm not sure if ohms law applies in this case.
