Server Host Help

Hey all. Sorry to bring this off topic but i was wondering if one of you could help me with a server issue I am having it seems when ever I try to host an online server for metallic construction mod it says in the command window that "your server could not be contacted" "check your IP / port configuration." I used to host tribes 2 construction servers along time ago and would love to do it again, if any one could help me it would be most appreciated.

    1) Port Forwarding, Check to see if this has been done on your router

    2) Make sure you have proper connections online

    3) Check your server port, it's usually 28000, If you are behind a firewall, check to see that the port / IP is properly forwarded.

    ok great thank you I'll look into this hopefully this will solve my problem.

    hmm everything was working great, but now tribes wont load a metallic or just plain construction server it just loads a classic rule set server any ideas?
