  • Yes, but what does it do?
  • Yes, but what does it do?

    Stuff.
  • That's a long video for an armor that does stuff.
  • It sounds like a chipmunk is narrating.

But yeah, what's that do, lol.
  • I mean it's obviously promoting a sequel to Crysis, but what does it do?
  • Protects the wearer i would have thought.
  • So far, all it does is make you inquire as to what it will do. Which is why they made the video. But I guess that doesn't really answer your question, really it only makes you think about what it really does. Which is why they made the video. Ahhhh.
  • Crysis 2? Damn. My current PC can't even play Crysis 1 at the lowest settings.
  • I bet its new feature is to do a better job at being shiny.
  • It makes the guy wearing it look l33t
  • Bet it makes quite the light show when it rains....
  • I would believe its rain proof, you CAN swim with the suit.
  • I never insinuated that it would be raining water. Think it can survive a meteoriod shower?
  • Yes probably, in MAXIMUM ARMOR mode.
  • Unmovable Object Mode! Unstoppable Force Mode! Stupidly Hard Fucking Punch Mode!
  • Those are not real modes, they don't have MAXIMUM in the name.

I might add, I named my PCs according to Nanosuit modes. My desktop is MAXIMUMARMOR and my laptop is MAXIMUMSTRENGTH. I'm building another computer soon and it will be MAXIMUMSPEED.
  • The cloaking mode doesn't have MAXIMUM in its name.
  • Maximum Almost Invisible But Not Quite Mode!
  • The cloaking mode doesn't have MAXIMUM in its name.
While that's a valid point, it's just an exception to the rule.
  • Maximum Almost Invisible But Not Quite Mode!

you noticed you still had a shadow too then? :p

as for features, looking at what cryengine 3 does, its safe to assume that its been designed for urban environments, its likely to have all of what the first suit does, and perhaps a few new modes, hopefully they have a heavy mode in which your character makes a gun shape with his fingers and goes "POW!"
  • If it's in an urban environment I expect that your suit can transform into a motorcycle. MAXIMUM SPEEDBIKE mode.
  • If it's in an urban environment I expect that your suit can transform into a motorcycle. MAXIMUM SPEEDBIKE mode.

what would be more funny is if you were the bike and some of your non nano suit friends rode you... wait, scratch that... that sounds... wrong... oh so very wrong... O_o
  • No meta-posts :P
  • Thats kinda wrong if you think about it. EDIT: hes even got handles o_o
  • Thats kinda wrong if you think about it. EDIT: hes even got handles o_o

LOL oh man i didnt see that coming

EDIT: and i have a new idea that might clear some of its features up... but not quite...

if we think about prophet, he secured an alien weapon, now considering thats pretty worrying enough, this nano suit is likley to have some alien tech too, but we'll wait and see... i loved the story in crysis 1 even though it was a bit on the short side.
  • Woo!

Wait, I saw some infos somewhere. *looks for it*
    Edit: Found it!

Rebreather Assembly - Allows for short-term underwater breathing. In regards to the overall mask, CryTek maintained elements that point to the Human underneath such as a removable visor, breathing vents, and earholes.
CryFibril Artificial Muscle - Carbon/niobium nanofiber composite. "[On NanoSuit 1] there were muscle groups in places where they didn't support Human motion, especially in the abdominal region."
Gloves - These mix brute force & precision. The CryNet systems brochure claims users can "punch through a concrete wall then carry a China teacup across the battefield."

I wonder if that was illegal..
