Hardly.
The light support beam texture is pretty bad, that's a fact. It's been sitting in there since sometime in the spring of 2003 when everyone was putting out texture packs and I've grown so used to it that I haven't bothered to change it.

These days it works fine anyways, as the side view is usually all I would see. Works as a bit of a visual guide for making quick size changes; the lighter side is the Y axis, the dark the X.

Wait, does that bioderm have a face? That's sweet, I wanna make a skin with my face as the bioderm.

I think I'm going to do that right now in fact.
