Some tips to make up for the bad instructions:
*You can stack conveyor belts going in different directions
*Robots can enter nodes from any direction
*For some reason null robots must be accepted in most circumstances
*Space bar mirrors Pieces
I only figured out some of those things about half way through. = /

I cheated my way through using other people's solutions for Officers, Judiciary, Academics, Generals, and Engineers. Just wanted to see the end and then go back after some time and do it all over w/o help.
I beat all the levels up 'till the first one that asked for binary solutions then decided to quit.
Looking back, my solution to Android (I think) wasn't complete. I passed it anyways but I guess the test case wasn't enough. (I later went back and fixed that )
Edit_1:
Random thought: A similar game could make for an interesting part of a coder position application.
Could make a building with a similar system.
