RAM tester

So yea, I have been having some issues with my computer, and I have no clue where its coming from, so I figured I would run a diagnostic on my ram to see if that may be the cause of the issues.

So, anyone know a good RAM testing program that is preferably free?

    what sort of issues?

    Memtest86 is what you want for testing your memory. You can boot it off a USB drive and just leave it running overnight to see if it picks up any errors if you want to be sure.

    I had a bad stick of RAM once. It never caused any problem until I started playing Minecraft... and memtest didn't catch any problems with that stick, either.

    I verified it by just removing one stick at a time until the problem was fixed.
