They can find you if they know you've been doing it through some advanced ISP tracing. The government always knows...
Some people says that DLing programs is a civil offense, not a federal offense. However, we don't have any lawyers that are fessing up around here, anyways.
They're not going to take your computer away for downloading some program. Heck, they'd even have to get records from your ISP and go through the trouble of getting a warrant for your computer, prosecuting you...
Unless it was your parents that took your computer.
Actually, I didn't get a glimps of who took my computer. Whatever you call those people who take your stuff when you dont pay bills.
