What do you guys think as far as performance goes? I would download and try it myself, but right now i'm on my college work computer.
EDIT
Well i couldn't wait until i got home, so far i like it.
It's sleak, but simple and clean, true to google.
I hope my professor doesn't beat my ass, though.
EDITx2
I really like the built-in spell check, it's like the FF one, but better.
Chrome appears to confirm if the URL you've typed into the addressbar is an actual site or not before you even go to the address, is this true, or am i crazeh?
IE8 is supposed to be importing some fancy new features also, so, yeah. Even if Chrome does get some new, cool stuff in, it'll have to try extra-hard to out-do the current browser-champion Microsoft.

That may be part of the DNS pre-fetch option/feature.
But according to some, this new browser cannot outperform IE.
I would attribute that to it still being a beta, and the new kid on the block.
And, as a side note, the EULA"mishap" was somewhat interesting.
.::Edit::.
I stand corrected, Chromium has a few issues that Chrome didn't...
The one that's most annoying me right now, it doesn't want to handle downloading .doc files!
