Alcohol is more physically damaging than MDMA (extacy), cocaine, amphetamine (speed), LSD, 2C-b, DMT, Magic Mushrooms, Pyote, cannabis, and probably a lot more that I can't think of off the top of my head
The only different is that alcohol has been around for longer in an established manner. Image what would happen if they tried to ban alcohol?? There'd be mass riots! Also think of the amount of tax revenue the government makes of alcohol and cigarette sales? If they were to ban them they'd have to make up the shortfall elsewhere...
It always amuses me how anti-smoking our (UK) Government tries to act, even though the majority of the public fund comes from the tax on cigarette sales! Talk about double standards...

Weed is illegal for a few logical reasons. I will argue that Alcohol is not worse than cocaine, X, Speed and LSD. Alcohol does not cause brain damage, where as all of those provide that to you on a silver platter. Don't kid yourself.
That being said, weed is much less bad for you than alcohol. A good reason why is has not been legalized is because there is no way to tell just how hi you are. And at what point it becomes dangerous to do things like drive, go to work, or even talk with normal not hi people. I think that it should be legalized so the country can make more money and pull us out of the slump. Apparently laws are not going to stop you kids from smoking weed, so why not make some money off of it.
I suggest you use the search engine next time you claim that alcohol does not damage the brain, or ignore the negative effects of weed. There are enough scientific peer reviewed publications on these substances.
I'm not saying they don't benefit the human race in some way or another. But please check your facts before you make such claims.

E is also incredibly taxing on your system, you use a weeks supply of dopemine in a short period of time, and that shit takes a while to come back, so nothing makes you happy for quite a time afterwards. MDMA is even worse than E, it's a purified form.
Dont kid yourself and think liquor is worse than any man-made drug. Cannibas even has it's bad side effects, but the long term effects arent as bad as alcohol.

True, but it's not particually damaging, as your seratonin glands don't work in over time to catch up the surplus; you just have a deficiency for a short while. It's also combattable by taking seratonin supliments like 5-HTP. I speak from 7 years of frequent use and from my experience the mental enlightenment I've received from MDMA far outweighs any short-term periods of feeling a bit shit
