  • Snow calmly re-hooked the AV6 to his belt, and pulled the sniper-on-steroids off of his back and sat back on his ass, bringing his knees up. He rested the sniper barrel on one knee, and the trigger finger elbow on the other as he looked at the Lord. He spared a single glance at the soldier, whom gave a disbelieving glance at the huge creature... then passed out, one of his arms around the two bags Snow had flung at him to take him out of the monster's reach. He had arrived just in time... as Dond had flung himself through the window, the Lord had reached him, and was merely inches from grabbing him before the backpacks hit his side and flung him away. Snow chuckled, impressed he had managed a round from the shotgun as a groan snapped his glance back to the Lord.

Seriously... why can't you just fucking die?

Snow had looked over the Lord... and it was riddled with bullet wounds all over, as if someone had taken a 30mm cannon to it. There also about 6 knives around it's legs... it had found a melee squad, somewhere. Snow sighed and scoped in on the creatures head, and it leaped into vision. A scarred twisted grimace met him square on, and it gave a weak roar before Snow pulled the trigger and pulled his head away from the scope. The building behind the Lord shattered explosively, rubbing falling away and tumbling down onto the now headless creature. Snow sighs, and stands up, looking around. Night was falling again, it had taken him most of the day to find the soldier. And now the fucker was unconcious, and would have to be carried, along with the gear. Snow picked his way along the rubble to the man and knelt down, tossing both his pack and the pack he would give to the guy over his shoulders, where he had put the sniper again. Grabbing a water bottle, he tipped the mans head back and opened his mouth, then dribbled some in, hoping to revive the man. He seriously didn't want to have to carry the fucker, he was a big man. A quick slap across the cheek followed as Snow waited.

Com'n fella. Wake up, this rubbled area isn't exactly nappy-time-safe.
  • Seriously... why can't you just fucking die?
I feel that way about a lot of people.

    In T2 of course. :D
  • Dond should turn this into a construction, make it famous, turn it into a mod, give it some guns, and an advanced zombie AI...

    Oh wait, that's TWM.

TWM was originally based off of CCM. Which CCM is my mod. Yes I created the zombies. thank you.

I crawled out of my drop pod. Battered and upsidedown it had hit the ground with enough force to destroy a tank. Yet somehow my ass survived.
I feel over in the impared state I was in and rolled on my back. Seing double, I wasnt exactly sure how many there were, but there had to be at least 10 planes in the air dropping off men and vehicles. One of which just exploded.
My head rolled to the side to see a tank rolling past. It fired its cannon within close proximity to me, which didnt help the ringing in my ears or double vision any.
A couple moments passed watching men moving past firing at something behind me. Having now regained my composure I stood up and turned to what was being shot at.
Multiple creatures were coming out of the city.
Flying creatures were swooping in and snatching men up only to drop them a few hundred feet in the air.
These creatures had no purpose in killing us, no. They didnt feed on us, they didnt have peace talks or wave white flags. This was war. No not war, war has simple established rules. No this was genocide, these creatures wanted nothing more than to kill us all.
With a new found hatred for the things I surged towards the lines to do my own share of "saving humanity."
Meeting up with the men on the line I took a location behind a downed sign just outside the city limits.
"Sydney Australia" is what the sign read. Sydney had been whipped out by the infection. Actually all of Australia had been whipped out, Sydney being the epicenter of its continent.
I heard men to the side of me yelling.
"Do we have any artillery assets out here?"
"No sir! This whole damn continent is crawling"
"Fucking ass holes! Sending us out here to get whipped out, all alone, and looking for some ass holes in ninja armor who couldnt do their damn jobs!"

I rolled right to avoid a flying creature, and then hit it with a burst of M32 watching it fall to the ground I listened in to another group of men who were just grouping up with us.

    "Sir!"
"What the hell is it now!"
"Sir ive done the calculations and we missed the drop zone by about a mile. We should have dropped in at this park here"
"Well as you can see that didnt happen because all these damn rapiers knocked out our air assets."
The officer turned and shot a fast creature with a burst of M32 and continued giving orders. I liked the guy immediately, reminded me of myself.
Just about then a massive number of the fire ball launching creatures came into view appraoching our position.
"DEMONS!" was the word that was getting repeated all the way across the line. Then the "demons" launched a volly of fireballs at us nailing the tank and a few just implaced mortar positions. Most everyone else had the common sense enough to move.
The line retook positions and returned fire.
The demons were tough. Taking nearly half a mag of M32 to put down and more than 2 shot gun blasts at close range.
The creatures continued moving on us, and we continued shooting, but sides taking heavy casualties, but we had this in the bag.
The demons reached close range and a command I hadnt imagined ide every hear was passed down. "Fix bayonets!"
We all crossed our cover and commited to close range battle, even though hardly anyone even had a bayonet let along "fixed" it. I returned to my "ballorina of death" abilities and proceded into the melee distant battle our firefight had turned into. Only to have my vision go black at the taste of water to my lips.

Muffled words, incomprehensable to me was all I heard. As suddenly a quick jerk of my head, and burning sensation in my cheek turned my vision back to white, and then to color. It had been a memory.
  • Snow grabbed the mans jacket, intending to throw him over his shoulder and haul off before the creatures returned. The briefing said that when a lord died, it was feasted upon. Snow had no intentions of attending the feast, as the eater or as the eaten. As he hauled the man up to a sitting position, Snow finally realized the man's armor...

Well... I'll be damned... US Army... What a pleasent surprise. Now, wake the fuck up.

    Snow hauled his hand back-

-and slugged the fanicly dressed fucker in the face, then stood up straight, turning to face the rest of the diplomats of the world. The other man toppled off the dias, and men in nutreal grays were suddenly pointing weaponry at him, only to have his own men taking them down systmatically with lightning fast martial arts. Within the minute of his hand hitting the dumbass from France, the room was suddenly under his command. His squad had stripped the guards, and were awaiting his word. He faced the leaders of world.

We'll do it. Just us. No one else.

Snow looked at the man, wondering what exactly he had been supposed to do... it had vanished from memory. He shook his head, and wondered how long the army man would take to wake up. A howl from the next street over said he didn't have too long.
  • Dondelium, just start writing that book, im sure its gonna be bestseller. :D

I... i melted a Minmatar Militia Rifter today... h-he made the mistake of not aligning... a-after he had warped into a belt hunting for someone who wasn't a pirate in a Moa class cruiser....

    here we go.

I scanned him within 5* of an asteroid belt around the 3rd planet in the Amamake system. I was sitting in deadspace, ~500,000 km away from said belt, looking for prey.

Ever few seconds, i updated my scan results on that belt, so i could be aware if someone had entered it; So, even before their warp drives had cooled down enough for a re-light, i'd be right on top of them... My strategy.

Once he appeared on the console, i immediately stopped pulsing the scanner. i took a second to read the new data output on it. What i detected was a Rifter class frigate, by the name of Loki, "Perfect..", i thought.

I pulsed the scanner one more time, to see if anymore ships had entered the belt. I wouldn't be able to tank multiple frigates, or another cruiser... Luckily for me, my scanner came up with the same familiar Frigate. I quickly wound up the warp engines, and instantly i was in warp to the belt.

Almost as quickly as my warp bubble formed, it disintigrated violently all around me as i re-entered normality. Distant specks on my visual readout quickly grew to massive low-sec asteroids; virgin rocks who had never seen a miners laser; It's far to dangerous to mine out here.

Once i stopped moving and my systems had rebooted, i found myself in a forest of rock; Data, classifications, velocities and inputs of all kinds flooded into my neural overview. In my mind, i sifted through the chaos, and found what i was looking for... the Loki.

All was as i expected it, the Rifter was sitting dead in space 9.8kms away from me. Moving towards my stern. Quickly, i activated my gravimetric targeting array, and pointed a lock on him.

I must have scared him shitless... he made a fatal mistake... instead of aligning and warping to a gravity-well which he was already aligned with, like a planet or a moon; that only would have taken 2 seconds, he began winding up his warp-drive; turning right around, into open space; 8 seconds; Those 6 seconds difference would cost him dearly.

While he was in mid-align, my array finally acquired lock, instantly activated my Warpfield disruptor and Statis Webbifier. Within 3 seconds, his warp-drive ceased activation, and he was jammed... webbed... tackled. By this time my afterburner had kicked in, and i was quickly barring down on him.

On the Baldur, my Moa class cruiser, i have many weapons at my disposal...
Capacitor Neutralizers, Drones, Electron Blasters, Nosferatus. Today i opted to savoir my kill, and only use my favorite.

While i approached, the hapless pilot made a valiant effort to save himself; Trying to keep his distance from me, and firing wildly... but being webbed, made his normally agile craft very slow, and his primitive weaponry has no effect on my advanced Caldari shield systems.

As i entered a close orbit to the stricken ship, 2000ms or so, i activated my blasters, and watched as super heated ions glassed the little frigate.

In the first volley his shields crunched. With the second volley, large portions of his armour were simply gone. The ship wouldn't last long against this torrent, and soon his hull would be much like his armour; vapour.

In five volleys the Rifter, Loki ceased to exist, all that was left was wreckage, and a small flashing capsule reflected against the inferno next to it. I attempted to gain a lock on the pod, but it had already escaped into warp. That pilot would live to fight again.

I scanned the floating heap of metal and found only some modified projectile ammunition. The stuff was useless to me, but it would fetch a nice price on the regional markets, which would more than pay off the ammo i bought for this afternoons fun.

I spent a second or two surveying the scene of the fight. But then i remembered that i'm not the top dog in Amamake... many more terrible and powerful pirates, roamed this constellation, and to them, i could be annihilated just as quickly as that Rifter was. I quickly aligned Baldur towards open space, and wound up my warp drive.

As i was just about to leave normality, i realized the irony of what had just happened...
Today, in some generic, back-water, war-torn solar system...

    Baldur got Retribution.
  • Shweet, you took out Ret. *claps*

  • this is now officially the saddest thread on the forums :D
  • Too bad I don't have time to read this shit. Write a book people. :)
  • Man I've tried again and again to read this but I can't get past like the first paragraph of any post without feeling....dirty?

    Meh I'm drunk :)
  • lol well when all you read are the articles out of porno mags, you would associate reading with being dirty
  • Yeah, we suck, what can i say?
  • Some noobs in my corp started crying about some ore they left in cans in an asteroid belt in Amarr, saying some guy kept taking them. i go there, thinking it'll be an easy kill. The guy shows up in an industrial ship (right next to me), i vamp and gun his ass down, he dies. Then he comes back again when i went to go change my fit, i warp in just as he warped out (right next to my nooby corp members can) and those n00bs think i stole their damn ore.

Then they both cry on our former alliance's corp mail, saying i stole their ore.

so i shoot one of them to make a point, he comes back in a Executioner 20km away, warp disrupz0rs meh, i shoot him with some tachyon modal (with sansha radio L) he dies, his other chum in a hulk also gets a taste of amarr lasers, he dies, i salvage him.

Ok, Last refuge then gets pissed at our corp for being n00bs, we're ejected from the alliance, and they declare war on us. What more can you want? >_>

Everyone in this game is an asshole. :(

Name of the n00bs from my corp: Lexx katara and Bovver katara. something like that...

  • Anyone want a Harbinger 32mil? Wiseasses wont buy it for less than 18.
  • I know its a dead thread, and this chapter dosent quite fit the role play, but i finally wrote another chapter.

    Part 8: Friendly’s

I opened my eyes to see a human, standing over me. He chuckled a bit and then said “There we go, see, you are alive.” He was dressed in a dark suit of armor, almost black, and with no markings. It was also not a hard or heavy material, but almost skin like.

I wasn’t as worried about that though, as much as I was worried about: 1. The latest metaphorical truck that had knocked me unconscious, again. 2. If the truck was still alive.

I leaned up a little and looked at the lord that lay motionless on the ground. The man over me immediately chuckled again and said as I began to feel the vibrations of a passing tank “Its dead buddy, a 120mm round tends to do the job. Now get up we gotta move.”

I fumbled up into a standing position… To be honest, I was getting better at this recovering from unconsciousness thing.

The tank was now merely feet away rolling down the road. A Faustus heavy tank, the premier anti-armor armored vehicle in our arsenal. With it a squad of heavily armed personnel jogged by, a mix of dark armored men, and those wearing the same armor as me. One of them as he passed by said “Hey look, it’s the new guy, surprised you’re still alive.” He continued on jogging past though.

“To be honest so am I” the guy that woke me said, as he handed me a XM208 Anti-Material sniper rifle, one of Australia’s finest weapons. “I’ve never seen a person run like that before.”
I replied “What are you talking about? Haven’t you ever seen someone run like a bitch before?” As I cleared the weapon and reloaded it, and then replaced my medical back pack with it.
“Not in excess of 20 mph I haven’t.” He replied as he handed me a health injector and a bottle of painkillers from my med pack. “For your headache.” Obviously the guy had been knocked out before.
“Thanks… 20 mph huh?” I replied in puzzlement as I started moving with the group of soldiers. I didn’t really think twice about grouping up with them. They were human.
“Well I didn’t have a radar gun on you, but you were hauling ass for about 400 meters.” He curled his mouth into a grin as he said it.
“You were watching me the whole time?” I blurted out without thought.
“So your names Dondelium huh?” he said as he tapped on my name plate, obviously changing the subject “you know some people in the past few years have said that name means change.”
“I wouldn’t know, when I was named, it was merely made up.” I said quietly as I remembered all those people who had commented on the religious fanatics that were obsessed with the name.
“You should change it. I would, change isn’t something I enjoy to much. I mean look at what it’s caused.” He murmured as he pointed at a random building in front of us.

Fact of the matter is, he could have pointed anywhere in this city and he could have made his point. Wasn’t a whole hell of a lot left of it. I liked my name though, even though the world had gone downhill recently I enjoy change, it keeps things fresh.

“So if you don’t mind me asking. Where the hell are we going?” I asked in a cynical tone like I wasn’t expecting an answer.
“We’re going to our field patrol base. It’s just around the corner.” He replied quickly, as if he expected the question.
“So if you don’t mind me asking, what exactly is going on? With the mission and all that.” I quizzed him.
“Were looking for Her.” He answered.
“Her?” I asked as we rounded the corner.
“That’s the only name we have for her. She’s a female infected that shows little to no deformation, incredible strength, and leader traits amongst the infected.” He looked at me intensely as he said it.
I just trembled a little inside, and keep walking looking at the patrol base in front of us as a cold chill raced down my back.

It was her. He was talking about her, and I had seen her before.
  • Dond, play T2 more. I've restarted work on Tauris.

I thought this thread was referring to an RP in T2 for a minute.

Blnukem knows my in-game RP character, Dolosus.

Edit: Holy shit, this inspired me to write something for Dolosus..
Expect me to post chapters at a time.
  • Oh btw expect a number of more chapters, as soon as i get time to write them. I have a basis outline of where this story is gonna go to.... :) and it will be awesome.
  • Write that book already...

I wrote a rough draft on chapters 1,2 and part of 3. Yea, I got lots of time on my hands. I suck at making fun dialogue though; using too many I's, my's and me's. (Yea, writing it from Dolosus' view)

Dond pretty much blew up my writing, lol.
  • i has nuke, do i win?
  • Just kill everyone and your happiness is guaranteed there will be nobody bothering you. :D
  • Part 9: A questionable past.

My heart pounded. A routine trip to the army medical center to check up on my past blood test had turned into something far more… suspicious.
I lay on a surgical bed, strapped in by my wrists and ankles, and to top it, a security contingent of 4 personnel were outside the labs door, and I could hear murmuring from the people in the next room, who had failed to close the door completely.
The doctor started with “Take a look at this, Sir. The virus doesn’t dissolve in his blood cells, instead it fuses with them and mutates them into a more effective and potent version of them.”
The other man replied with “Are you telling me his body reacts to the virus just like hers?”
“Look what happens when you add in her mutated strain of the virus, and when her blood is introduced to his version of the virus.” The doctor paused a bit after.
“Holy shit! So your telling me these two were meant to share their versions of the virus?” the man exclaimed. “What can we do to stop this possibility?”
The doctor replied. “Well if he gets infected with any dose of her strain as is, he’ll change, but if he was to get the original strain of the virus, his immune system would multiply, and only a pure and massive dose would even have an effect on him.”
“So you’re saying we need to infect him? Isn’t that a bad idea?” The man replied.

I was seriously getting uncomfortable with the whole ordeal I was in by now, and started pulling on the straps. They weren’t budging. I looked for anything I could use. I even tried rocking the bed, over. I was stuck.

“No it’s a great idea, imagine a soldier that can go ahead of the battle, survive in a extremely hostile environment, brush off infection, and kill with lightning fast reactions, and an unmatched agility. Just don’t let him and her meet” The doctor replied. “He’s perfect otherwise.”
“Ok I’m sold. Let’s do this.”The man pushed open the door still looking at the doctor. “After you doctor.”
“Why thank you colonel.” The doctor said as he glided towards me with an almost satisfied manner, syringe in hand.

The colonel then turned his head and looked at me with a deep penetrating stare, his eyes deceptive in manner, but deep in thought peering into my soul. It also happened to be the same officer that was blurting out orders when we were invading the city from my earlier memory, and that I liked so much.

“Sergeant Dondelium, I would like to welcome you to my unit. Your being transferred to it today. We are a special operations unit, and thus being in our unit requires a surplus in your immunities.” The Colonel calmly said as the doctor prepared the syringe. “My names Colonel Hardbrook, and you’ll be taking orders directly from me now.”
“Yes sir.” I responded with as much composure as I could muster. The cells in my body were about to get mutated, and I still kept a military manner. Apparently the brain washing was pretty good.
“Doctor Fenn, are we ready?” The colonel asked.
“Yes colonel were ready.” The doctor said as he moved to me and swabbed my arm with alcohol. “Your gonna feel a slight burning sensation when this happens.”
“Is that why I’m strapped in.” I asked in one of those jokingly uncomfortable tones.
“Why yes it is.” He smiled in an almost cenacle manner and then stabbed my arm.

Immense pain was all I could feel as I flailed in anguish on the bed. Then the realization that I wasn’t in the same room, and the man over me wasn’t doctor Fenn… the sadistic prick he was. No it was a fully armored medic.

“Whoa buddy calm down. Im just giving you an i.v. you were pretty dehydrated.” The medic responded without delay.
“Its ok, it was just a night mare.” I said quietly.
“Must have been a hell of a battle you were dreaming of.” The medic said as he attached the i.v. fluid to the hose going into my arm.
“Yea, you could say that” I said as I plopped my head back down and relaxed on the bed.
“Well you better clear your head, Colonel Hardbrook’s coming to see you.” The doctor commented as he walked out the door to his next patient.

Great, just as I was about to relax for a change.
  • Part 10: Across the yard

I laid in the bed for a couple minutes regaining my bearings while I waited for colonel Hardbrook to show up.
The patrol base they referred to wasn’t so much a patrol base, but more of an old Australian base that someone was able to get the generator running in. It was equipped with automated turrets and even a medical facility, which I was currently located in.
They sent me straight to the Medical facility as soon as we got to the base, seems that even though I knew they were human they still wanted to make sure I was.

The door to my room slammed open. It was colonel Hardbrook.
“On your feet soldier!” was his first words in the door.
“uhhhhhh” was all I could get out while I slid myself off of the bed.
“Really, that’s all I get after saving your life?” he smirked as he said it. “and I thought we were friends.”
“Saving my life huh sir?” I said while putting my boots back on.

Right about now I was considering taking his. Due mainly to the fact that I only got 30 minutes of sleep because I woke up to a nightmare of a memory I had where he instructed Dr. Fenn to give me a rather painful “Immunization” which I didn’t put up to much of a fight during. It was after that I broke free of the restraints and strangled Dr. Fenn within 3 seconds of his life. Now though, I couldn’t even go back to sleep because he was standing over me blabbing again. He was good at that.

“Yes, saving your life.” He said as he motioned me towards the door. “Let’s get moving I’ll tell you on the way.”
“Yea sure sir” I said as I drug myself through the door and out into the uncomforting bright light outside.
“You know if it wasn’t for me all those months of training you went through would have been put to waste” He patted me on the shoulder as I winced in bright light of high noon.

What he was referring to wasn’t so much training as it was an enhancing series of tests that I was run through. Sure, I got some serious hand to hand combat and equipment using time in, but it was still timed this, performance based that.

“If I hadn’t pulled the EMDPR (emergency mass drop pod release) lever we would have all died on that damn Golem.” He was enjoying saying this because I had beat all his records in the training scenarios, and he was always trying to one up me. “I saw you came in pretty hard when you landed, what did you do? Punch the manual control box?”

I remembered the scene from earlier. The EMDPR was located right next to the manual control box I destroyed. Whoops.
I just put on some sun glasses I found in the med bay and smirked alittle at him.

He responded with “As usual, thinking with brute force again.” As he shook his head. “You really ought a try some finesse sometime.”
“So what are we doing sir?” I cut him off there. He will drone on if I don’t.
“Oh were just going to alittle meeting, it’s just across the yard.” He said smugly as I forced myself to move at the same pace he was.
“Alittle meeting sir?” I said quizzingly. “Then why do I need to be there? I’m just a grunt.” I was hoping he’d say something I could wiggle my way out of.
“I need to explain some things and put out a warning order. You’re a key part of this mission, so that’s why I’m bringing you along.” He said as all hope of sleep left my mind.

Come to find out this meeting would explain a lot of things that I had been wondering about. I still think I would have rather slept though.
  • Part 11: The meeting

Colonel Hardbrook opened the door to the command room and motioned me in. There was a mix of high ranking army personnel and a few of the dark armored personnel in the room all of which were seated and facing a podium with the New Australian Regime symbol on it.
Colonel Hardbrook then tapped me on the shoulder and pointed at a chair as his expression turned serious and he returned to his commanding nature that most soldiers in the unit were all too well accustomed to. He then strided over to the podium and looked around the room as if inspecting the group of soldiers inside.
He cleared his throat then began his speech, “Gentlemen, this op has gone, well awry is about the only way to put it. There were many things that were supposed to happen, but none of them were accomplished. As you all know we are stuck here in Sydney, and we are literally fighting to survive.” He then glanced over at me and continued. “The reason this op is in such disarray is due to the fact that we lacked intel. The intel of what we were facing, and for many of us just the intel of what we were doing here. I didn’t know what we were doing until I ran across our fellow elites here.” He pointed at one of the men in the dark armor and then continued once more. “Gentlemen we were deployed to supplement the elites in their hunt for the demon mother. Now for us to understand the demon mother we need to know the history of the infected, and gentlemen, the demon mother IS the history of the infected.”
Colonel Hardbrook then motioned at someone in the back of the room and they turned out the lights and turned on a projector displaying a oddly shaped plant. “Now everyone knows that the infection spread first in Saudi Arabia and then made its way across Africa Asia and then Europe right. Well it wasn’t started there. It was started here gentlemen. The Australians found a new species of plant that was literally destroying the surrounding plants with a virus it created. This virus made the host plant stronger and nearly immune to any know disease the plant could get. So they took a sample of the virus and then burned the plant to keep it from killing anymore plants. They used a few techniques on the virus to accelerate its evolution. Gentlemen, the virus evolved to where it could successfully couple with human DNA. Not any human DNA though, only one. Miss Adrien Henns, the demon mother, born July 10th 1990 and originally from California. Now needing to know what this virus would do to a living human being just incase it ever came back they decided to test it, on her. When they found her she was too young to be infected though so they took her, and kept her locked up for 15 years. She became insane over the time and grew to hate the human race. The virus grew on that hatred of humanity and became what it is.” He paused for a moment then continued. “When they injected her, her and the virus… evolved. She turned into something, with a power unimagined. So they put her in stasis. The virus changed into something that could combine with any human DNA it splices with. As you know it can take may forms. A direct infection from the demon mother will cause a human to change into one of 2 things depending on its compatibility with the DNA. A Lord or a Demon as we’ve come to know them. Any contact with the unpure virus of one of these creatures causes the creation of either a zombie a ravager or in rare cases a rapier. They found this out through testing on humans of her version of the virus. The first Lord they created they took to the desert of Saudi Arabia to field it and see if it would be useful as a tool of war. It got loose and caused the loss of billions of lives.” He then motioned at one of the elites. “Captain Snow, if you would come up here please and tell them what your mission was.”
Captain snow made his way up to the front of the room. It was the same man who had woke me earlier.
He took the podium and looked at us with a deep gaze. “Gentlemen my unit was deployed here in response to a distress call from the Sydney research facility. The demon mother had awoken from stasis and was attacking the facility. By the time we had gotten to the facility the situation was way out of hand and the demon mother had already escaped and was wreaking havoc on the city. We were confronted with multiple demons and lords all throughout the facility. Once we had gotten out we then had to survive here until we could call in for back up. That was 4 months ago, the few elites you see here are all of us that are left. We stumbled upon this facility and called in for assistance in killing the demon mother 3 days ago. They sent you. We have to destroy the demon mother. Ever since she escaped she has been showing leadership traits amongst the infected. As im sure you all noticed during your initial assault of the city. She had actually brought in all the infected within the surrounding areas to defend her sanctuary. Yes gentlemen this is her home, and were playing ball in her court, but we must destroy her at any costs before she can prepare an assault on the Americas.”

My mind was ripped from the brief at that point back to the initial assault he was referring to.
I had just jumped my cover and was now weaving between claws, bullets, debris, and fireballs all while returning fire at the demons which were all around us.
I closed in on one demon shooting off his arm while he manifested a fireball. It landed beside him exploding and charring him. I then kicked him in the chest while I shot at a ravager that was crossing my path after my buddy on the left. I pulled out a grenade with my left hand while I shot the demon I was standing on with my right hand. I then chucked the grenade at another demon which was coming from the right. A nice long burst of M32 followed by a grenade blast and I was now at 3 infected in about 5 seconds. I heard a scream from behind me. I turned to see a fellow soldier laying there bleeding as a ravager hauled ass after his next victim. That was it for this guy, he was infected. I moved toward him shooting my M32 at nearby infected while I unholstered my pistol with my other hand. As I past him I shot him in the head with my pistol, twice for good measure. It was better to die then to live and become one of them, or so I had heard. I turned my attention to a demon who was now jumping off of the building beside me, aimed directly at me. “Click” my mag was empty, shit. I rolled left just in time to hear the thud of the demon beside me. Without hesitation I jumped back up and caught his claws with my empty rifle and smacked him in the face with them. I then put my pistol under his chin and pumped three rounds into the creatures head. I started to hear the thunderous steps of a lord coming about then. No wait, 2, 3, hell there had to be atleast 5 of them coming, all at once.

Colonel Hardbrook brought me back with. “Which is where Sergeant Dondelium comes in, if you would please come up to the front.”
