  • Quadrilaterals suck! Need more circle.
  • gentlemen, grease your zero point energy engines, retract your inv stations and check your six tires!, it's gonna get bumpy and possibly nuclear.
  • How long must Demo footage be?
  • It should probably be at least as long as it takes to complete an event :o
  • Oh wow, I actually made it back from Camping on time to join this... Awesome!
  • It's looking like the tracks will still need a bit more work to be ready for the contest, so any Saturday races might have to start a bit later in the day.

If you really want to help finish up, you could ask someone in the contest server for the password. :p
  • one of us should use their mechanical knowledge to make an MPB in real life, then we can drive around and scoff at the other MPB-less gentlemen whilst donning our helmets and sporting glorious armor

GENTLEMEN. I know what were doing this year.

for sure, but srsly that would own, all that would be missing then is the mpb telepad that allows you and your friends to teleport to a deployed MPB (Idea totally stolen from classic fyi)
  • The track is open to the public for the next few days.
The entire area is open to the skill parts of the competition, so feel free to attach demos (press F3 to record) of you doing your stuff.

Races will be held when there are at least four people on looking to race, but remember to record a demo when you do, even if there's no judges around.
The inside track has a start timer switch above the starting line, and the full mission area loop has a starter toggle on the east edge of the mission area. There is also an area around the outside of the inner track where you can race in circles all you like if you enjoy that kind of thing.

The downhill tower has a vehicle station on the top - your goal is to get down without blowing up your MPB. While flying down sections is technically legal, the last ramp has to be driven down for it to count as completing the track.

If you don't record a demo (F3 to start, F4 to stop, saves in your "Construction/Recordings/" folder) you're not eligible to win anything and also will be making it hard to compile a video!
  • Will try this out later today. :D

  • If you could upload the long one you were recording as well there might be some good footage in there :o

For anyone hasn't gone through it yet, it's still up for a day or two for you to go through. There is a Steam game prize in it you could win for submitting demo recordings for each of the following categories:
    • Getting an MPB from the station at the top of the downhill to the bottom platform and driving off the ramp (anything in-between is up to you)
    • Competing in a race of 4 or more players
    • Performing MPB jumps and tricks anywhere within the mission area of the contest server
  • I'll see what I can do about that tonight. :D
  • Is this contest dead.. ?
  • your face is a dead contest!
