Abusive Admin
Well... I am pretty much sick of him... Master-Chief-'s abusive behavior is really ticking me off... With him randomly muting/kicking me and a few other people. I really think Krash should do something, sure MC may be a good builder, but a bad admin. This is the 5th time this week I was kicked pretty much for no reason, Krash, if you have logs for your server, you should look at them to see what I mean.

The only reason I mute you is to think for a few minutes of what to say. I didn't even think of using Sierra's "Mute" Option that was already imbedded in the game. Sorry for today, I'm sorta sick, and i have a headache from hell. I'm taking my anger on WoW right now, I'm a gm on this one server
But anyways, I changed Zipper's name to Real Zipper because I didnt know which one was you. Sorta hard when you have the SAME NAME..
But yeah, I haven't muted anyone else. I've kicked quite a few for getting in my face after I warned them to back off nicely. I guess some of those people don't speak proper english.
Same with that RP today, Shamrock was getting mad at me because she/he couldn't make up the laws for the town we made. So she/he deleted everything and left.

And to what Zipper just said, you tend to change people's names to when they don't want you to, or to something they don't want... Like you changed Zipper's name and pissed him off, or when you made me mekunlB and ZipperNukem yesterday when I asked for just Blnukem.

Along with yesterday. I changed your name to mekunlB because I was messing with ya, you asked for Blnukem, so I figured, why not the opposite. But apparently that pissed you off. You could of thrown in a couple of "Please"'s, but You never do. So, Why should I be nice when I never hear any Please's?...... Mkay, just thought I'd point that out.
Yes I am forgiving just because MC is a friend... If he was some random fool that liked pissing me off... Then I could care less if he had no admin.
There have been quite a few kicks in the last few weeks, though. I haven't seen one that was abusive though (maybe I few had better alternatives, but, none abusive). Maybe that's just because all the admins like me?
I think it speaks for itself.

Nukem: Yes, more complaints have been made about Master than any other admin, but repercussions (removal of admin, limiting of power, etc) have been made in the past on the worst of these occasions, and a number of the rest have seen private discussions on the proper use and acceptable attitude to be upheld. There were some harsh words passing around prior to this event, and I had advised him to try to keep uninvolved from such altercations... Everyone makes bad decisions now and then, so I have always seen fit to give the benefit of the doubt. A better end could surely be met if a level head is kept, but I don't see any cases in which a single party is totally at fault. The arguments in question would not have gone so far if reprisals had not been made with such zest. Before getting into a fight with the person, don't get angry, stop and think.
In a community so small as this we all tend to know eachother well enough to know how the other will react... Consider how you or he might react to the insults you throw if the fact that it's only a game slips past for a moment.
Also, voicepacks are very annoying. Especially if you do in fact have a headache.
"Abuse" of admin powers is a questionable topic and is really the domain of the owner of a server, regardless of how players feel about it. The claims are certainly justified in some such cases, but if he is constantly flooded with insults and a storm of voice pack spam (as is very plausible, as well as directly conflicting with the only rule written for all to see on joining - "Shush your face.") I wouldn't blame a guy for muting, or in a bad situation, kicking the source of the problem. A request for the persons causing the ruckus to stop, followed by a warning and then the actual action would be a good course for an admin. Getting into a fight would not.
In retrospect - as irrelevant as it may be - Master's actions would be considered as little more than tame in comparison to what could be seen on a good number of servers just a few short years ago.
Any complaints recieved are taken into full consideration, but it is doubtful that you'll recieve a response past acknowledging that it was received. These are best done through private messages or emails, as public threads rarely turn up more than a mob of trolls out to get a lynching. Consequences are between myself and the person to which they are directed, the complainant and the public need not know what passes between us. I expect a similar incident will show its start in a few months time, but I can only hope that those involved will see a way to resolve their issues with minimal conflict.
It may seem naive or overly optimistic to hope as such, but a little insight can do a lot of good.
@thyth: You don't see me doing this in present day now do you? No, I didn't mean it back then because I was distracted by my bro who was sucking at halo 2. (if i remember correctly).
But after having a little lesson from krash, I've actually tuned myself up. Actions have converted to words, and that of which has happened throughout last week and this week as well. I am more focused on building my project. I don't have time to fool around anymore. Despiting the sickening fact that I'm getting homework now.
You can even ask CMDRBOB (Not trying to force him into the argument) He was a witness (And threatened MC if he kicked me, he'd be kicked) of MC kicking me because I asked MC to leave me alone, then MC stated to CMDR "Fine, if you kick me, I'll make insults of your SA behind your back." I can keep going on and on... But I choose not to, since I forgave MC for what he did, although I have a feeling these events will repeat themselves.
Your choice... If you choose not to take action and punish your admins and let them run wild, go ahead, you have done nothing before why start now? Like I said, I forgave him, but it frustrates me to see how you lack the initiative to inflict disciplinary actions on your admins when they abuse/overuse their powers.
