also, why not add an "automation drive" it snaps to the pilot seat and pilots the vehicle for you, it would work a bit like accm drones: dynamic and.... reasonably able to navigate hard terrain, id also love to be able freely deploy mountpoint deployables onto vehicles so you can transport people, bit like what i was trying to do with a walkway on the back of an mpb
To demon: There is a shield module ,and I am still experimenting with the speed module. There is however a warp module that can make you go really fast for a while.

To Death: I do not plan on adding auto pilot. It would be fairly complicated, and I don't think it is necessary. And, it is impossible to "freely deploy mount points on to vehicles." T2 can only mount stuff to mount points

I know thats what you meant, but they would only be able to be located on the vehicle's own mount points. Those mount points can already be mounted to by players with the /enterveh # command.
And, the shield pack just raises your energy recharge rate by 50%. I might do something that deletes projectiles at the cost of module charge later. (One projectile deleted = charge - [projectile damage *] 2 or something)
Kinda like in StaticShapeData::SomefunctionaboutShieldAbsorbDamageInStaticShape.cs();?
In Tauris i was gunna set up a Shield Gen that creates a space search and generates an FF in the path a Projectile (changes it's angle to look like it's a section of a shield sphere coming into view). and transfers the projectile dmg to the shield gens energy, after the energy has been sapped, crew have the option to "OverDrive" the shields at the cost to the shield gens Hitpoints.
All this is just so i can yell, "SHE CAN'T TAKE ANYMORE OF THIS CAPTAIN!"
