AND I happen to live in Europe, seriously everyone just give me a 1 and make yourself think you have it to charity. For the last time is anyone kind enough to buy it for me?
Followed by an HDD check.
(use google to find this one. Your HDD manufacturer may have one out specifically for your line of HDDs)
Your errors:

Sorry for the double post. = /
Edit_1:
Added server rules to the first post.
Edit_2:
Added Zicores Client wrapper.
Many new features.
Edit_3:
Sorry if you tried to join this afternoon and it didn't work.
A widnows firewall pop-up was hiding behind some windows and until I clicked "allow" it blocked all incoming connections.
The server is fixed and running.
Edit_4:
Well I found the cause of the bugs.
Rockslayer downloaded some "IP Blocker" that was wreaking havoc on my server.
It essentially gave him a speedhack.
so much consol spam...
Here's a fixed version of that texture with ice and snow, but it may still have bugs: http://imgur.com/vCz5P.png
Known Bugs:
Lava does not have animated glow.
Fire (not on torches) is messed up.
Gold ore blocks have a fire on top of them, due to the fire textures.
To install save that image, rename it to terrain.png and place it in your minecraft.jar file.
For Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\.minecraft\bin\minecraft.jar
For Windows 7 (possibly Vista, unsure): C:\Users\[username]\appData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin\minecraft.jar
For Ubuntu: /home/[username]/.minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar
I have no idea how on OS X
You can open the .jar with 7-Zip on Windows (possibly WinRAR too, but I used 7-Zip)
Ubuntu comes with a package manager that can open the .jar file.
New HUD! This mod has no bugs, as far as I know. When you download it, rename it to icons.png and place it in the GUI folder of the minecraft.jar file.
For Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[YOUR USERNAME]\Application Data\.minecraft\bin\minecraft.jar
For Windows 7 (possibly Vista, unsure): C:\Users\[your name]\appData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin\minecraft.jar

No, seriously, could anyone buy it for me?
Oh wait, it's the 21'st century.

His back has the surprise!
It should be
http://minecraft.net/skin/skin.jsp?user=MrHumans
Apparently it doesn't work with the new alpha server ver. = /
The good news is that I figured out how to merge save files
I was able to repair the damaged castle without deleting any of the newer buildings.
Edit:
Here's the best Minecraft skin editor that I've found:
http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?t=4843
That's what I've been using. I like it because its allot lighter than GIMP and it simplifies allot of things.
I just attached the file needed to preview your skins since the minecraft website is down.
Edit_2:
Redacted
Edit_3:
According to the WOM forums it may be down for up to 12 hours.

Edit_4:
Minecraft.net is back up and so is my server.

(there are also a few possible fixes @ this link)
It may be that you either have a faulting stick of ram or a bad HDD.
Run memtest86 for a few hours

The texture pack:
http://yourimg.in/i/320k8r.png
(yes, it is just an image)
Edit_1:
Apparently all you have to do to get a high(er) rez textures is make the terrain.png twice the size.
Go figure.
A comparison:

Last time it was a shoutout from a youtube user with hundreds of thousands of subscribers. No clue what the cause is this time.
Edit:
Never mind
It went back up.
O_o
:tinfoil:
but apparently sun textures just show up as white in game. All you can really change is the shape/shade.
Here's an example of someone else's work:

(I put up the server again, btw)
I had the wrong file open.
I noticed something in MC today!
Apparently its visible in the morning/evening!
This should solve the random disconnects and console spazzage.
Edit:
Post if you have trouble joining the server.
